No one could keep a straight face in Ghana’s parliament when MP John Frimpong Osei started posting the names of a few towns in his voting demographic that included references to private parts.
Names in the Twi dialect like “Vagina is Wise” and “Penis is a Fool” left legislators in attacks of chuckles.
The MP was asking when these zones would gain admittance to power.
“Giving them power may meddle with nighttime exercises,” kidded Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko.
The priest included, decisively, that a review would be led into how the towns in Abirem supporters in Eastern Region could be associated with the national matrix.
