Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Saturday gathered a gathering to survey the game plans being made for Hajj explorers of the state who are planned to come back from Saudi Arabia starting August 28 in the wake of playing out the yearly journey.
The gathering was educated that five flights conveying Hajj pioneers from Jeddah will achieve Srinagar Airport on August 28.
From August 29 to September 7, four flights conveying the explorers would arrive at the airplane terminal from Saudi Arabia.
The gathering examined frayed different issues identifying with entry of Hajj flights, gathering, landing timings, carrying of gear and blessed water (Aab-e Zam), organization of Home Guards volunteers, vehicle goes to orderlies and transport courses of action for pioneers.
While assessing the plans and offices being given to the explorers of the valley, the Divisional Commissioner coordinated the PDD to introduce gen-sets to supplement the power supply to the Hajj house Bemina.
He guided the concerned officers to put all game plans as to keeping up customary supply of drinking water, sanitation other than foundation of restorative camp alongside administrations of medicinal officers and rescue vehicle at the Haj House Srinagar and air terminal 24×7 to encourage the pioneers. SRTC will give satisfactory number of transports to transportation of the travelers.
Khan said the orderlies of Hajjis would be issued multicolor goes for entering the air terminal. “Just a single vehicle would be permitted to enter the air terminal premises from Humhama, in which one driver and one relative will go with the traveler at takeoff point.”
He guided authorities to guarantee satisfactory courses of action for Hajj pioneers and encourage their problem free entry other than consequent smooth excursion to their separate goals.
In the interim, as per official officer, State Hajj Committee, S Qamar Sajjad, relatives of Hajjis who wish to get their explorers at the airplane terminal have been educated that they can gather vehicle goes from their concerned DC workplaces two days before the date of flight arrival.
Those belonging to Srinagar district have been asked to collect the passes from Hajj House Bemina.
The passes can be obtained against xerox copies of pilgrim identity cards containing their cover numbers.
