Indian and Pakistani armed forces Monday traded overwhelming gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla locale.

Reports said the cross terminating between the two armed forces was accounted for in Kamalkote segment of Uri at around 12 pm on Monday.

A best police official from Baramulla said that Pakistani Army depended on mortar shelling on forward posts in Kamalkote territory of Uri.

Nonetheless, he said no death toll or property was accounted for from the region.

This was the second truce infringement by Pakistan armed force in seven days, he said.
