Around 14 individuals have been murdered in an enormous tempest which conveyed obliteration toward the northern Philippines, a presidential counsel says.
Tropical storm Mangkhut tore through the Philippines’ primary island of Luzon, and is presently moving west towards China.
The tempest removed rooftops, felled trees, activated 42 avalanches and caused broad flooding.
Mangkhut released winds of 185km/h (115mph) as it careered from east to west over the north of Luzon.
Five million individuals were in its way, and thousands were emptied.
