Experts are probably going to force limitations in parts of common lines zones of Srinagar on Friday to keep Shia grievers from taking out tenth Muharram parade.
Sources said the locale organization Srinagar had chosen to force limitations under Section 144 Cr P C on Friday in the zones falling under ward of Police Stations Shaheed Gunj, Shergeri, Karan Nagar, Kothibagh, Maisuma, Kral Khud, and Nehru Park Police Post of Srinagar, to keep Shia grievers from taking out tenth Muharram parade.
They said limitations would be forced as a preventive measure to keep up lawfulness in the city.
The Muharram—Youm-e-Ashoora– is seen in memory of the suffering of Imam Hussain (AS), who was martyred 1400 years back in Karbala, Iraq on tenth Muharram.
On the eighth Muharram experts had forced confinements and police thwarted parades in the city.
The customary eighth Muharram parade used to start from Habbakadal territory of Srinagar and end at Dalgate zone before 90’s. Since the beginning of militancy in 1989, the Muharram parades, be that as it may, are restricted in Srinagar.
