Rose McGowan has apologized for an announcement she made in August about individual on-screen character Asia Argento.
Argento debilitated to sue McGowan over cases she made about Argento and her previous co-star Jimmy Bennett.
Posting on Twitter, McGowan said her prior proclamation contained “realities that were not right” and that she lamented not apologizing sooner.
Argento denied any sexual contact with Bennett after he blamed her for explicitly ambushing him when he was 17.
McGowan and Argento were among the main individuals to openly blame Harvey Weinstein for assault in October 2017.

Argento was blamed for rape by Bennett in the New York Times in August. Bennett said Argento had paid him to keep the allegations calm.
