Somewhere around 109 individuals have been murdered and 565 harmed in truce infringement and cross fringe terminating at International outskirt (IB) and Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir in under three years, Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has uncovered.

The MHA answer to a RTI question uncovered that 109 regular folks and power work force were slaughtered and more than 565 regular citizens and security men harmed in cross outskirt terminating from 2016 till July 2018.

The data was uncovered by Kashmir work area of MHA vide letter no. 13030/2/2018-K.II dated 31/08/2018 because of a RTI application documented by Raman Sharma of Jammu.

As indicated by MHA, 2018 saw most extreme number of truce infringement and cross fringe terminating occurrences both at IB and LoC when contrasted with 2016 and 2017.

“In 2018 till July, 1435 terminating occurrences were accounted for, which is higher than the information of 2016 and 2017,” it expressed.

In 2016, 449 occurrences (228 at LoC and 221 at IB) and in 2017, 971 episodes (860 at LoC and 111 at IB) were accounted for.

Those slaughtered in cross outskirt shooting and shelling in most recent three years incorporate 56 constrain staff and 53 regular citizens.

Of them, 28 regular citizens were executed in 2018.

Of 565 harmed in outskirt threatening vibe, 302 were regular people and 263 power men.

In most recent three years, 35 Army men were slaughtered in fringe threats. Of them, eight armed force men were executed in 2016.

In 2017, 15 armed force men were murdered and 12 kicked the bucket in 2018.

In 2018, 12 BSF men were murdered and 47 others harmed while nine BSF men were executed and 39 harmed in cross fringe terminating in 2016 and 2017.
