The author of Huawei has said there is “no chance the US can squash” the organization, in a restrictive meeting with the BBC.
Ren Zhengfei portrayed the capture of his little girl Meng Wanzhou, the organization’s CFO, as politically inspired.
The US is seeking after criminal allegations against Huawei and Ms Meng, including tax evasion, bank extortion and taking competitive advantages.
Huawei denies any bad behavior.
Mr Ren addressed the BBC’s Karishma Vaswani in his first global communicate meet since Ms Meng was captured – and expelled the weight from the US.
“It is extremely unlikely the US can smash us,” he said. “The world can’t abandon us since we are further developed. Regardless of whether they convince more nations not to utilize us incidentally, we can generally scale things down a bit.”
Notwithstanding, he recognized that the potential loss of custom could have a noteworthy effect.
