Jussie Smollett won’t show up in the last two scenes of Empire, the show’s official makers have said.
In an announcement, they said the previous couple of weeks had been “fantastically passionate” for the group.
They considered charges that Mr Smollett had erroneously asserted he was the casualty of a detest wrongdoing “exasperating”.
The 36-year-old African-American on-screen character is blamed for recording a phony police report guaranteeing he was the casualty of a homophobic and supremacist attack.
Police say he organized the assault since he was “disappointed” with his compensation.

In the announcement, the Fox creation group stated: “The occasions of the previous couple of weeks have been unbelievably passionate for us all. Jussie has been a critical individual from our Empire family for as long as five years and we care about him profoundly.
“While these claims are extremely aggravating, we are setting our trust in the legitimate framework as the procedure plays out.
“We are additionally mindful of the impacts of this procedure on the cast and group individuals who deal with our show, and to maintain a strategic distance from further interruption on set we have chosen to expel the job of Jamal from the last two scenes of the period.”
It isn’t evident whether Mr Smollett will come back to the show in future seasons.
