Naming restricting of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) by the Center as undemocratic, senior CPI(M) pioneer Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Sunday said that the move does not betoken well in a popularity based setup and is politically roused.
“Everybody has an option to disagree in popularity based framework. Bans and forbiddances don’t betoken well in a vote based setup. Prohibition of the voices of contradiction is against the soul of a vote based nation,” Tarigami said.
In an announcement theparty additionally said that restricting associations has been done before and it has yielded nothing aside from exasperating the displeasure and we have worries that it will do the equivalent again this time. We trust the Center will audit its choice of forbidding a few associations in J&K soon.
