North Korean pioneer Kim Jong-un has touched base in the most distant east of Russia for a summit with President Vladimir Putin.
Mr Kim touched base via train in the Pacific Coast city of Vladivostok for his first chats with the Russian president, which are relied upon to begin on Thursday.
He was invited by authorities with a conventional offering of bread and salt.
