Ken Kercheval, an on-screen character who played oil head honcho Cliff Barnes in the mainstream cleanser musical drama Dallas, has kicked the bucket at age 83.
A representative at Frist Funeral Home in Kercheval’s main residence of Clinton, Indiana, affirmed his passing to the BBC yet was unfit to give further subtleties.
Neighborhood paper The Daily Clintonian reports that he passed away on Sunday.
He and Larry Hagman, who played adversary character JR Ewing, were the main stars to remain with the arrangement all through its whole 14-year run.
Victoria Principal who played his on-screen sister, Pamela Barnes Ewing, paid tribute via web-based networking media portraying Kercheval as “remarkably skilled” and “a brilliant story teller, guilefully humourous and constantly unusual”.
