Chinese President Xi Jinping met Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday and communicated trust that Pakistan and India can meet each other most of the way to improve their stressed relations following the Pulwama assault.
The two heads additionally traded perspectives on the circumstances in South Asia, an official Chinese proclamation here said about the gathering among Xi and Khan.
The India-Pakistan relations apparently figured noticeably in the gathering. Xi communicated trust that Pakistan and India can meet each other midway and advance the adjustment and improvement of India-Pakistan relations, it said.
Khan landed in China on April 25 and went to China’s second Belt and Road Forum (BRF) hung on April 26-27.
