New Zealand has propelled a weapon repurchase plot in the wake of the destructive Christchurch mosque shootings.

More than $208m New Zealand dollars (£108m, $136m), have been put aside to repay proprietors of self loading weapons which were prohibited after the assaults.

The boycott was concurred by parliament in April, weeks after the shootings.

In March, a shooter killed 51 individuals at a mosque and Islamic focus during Friday petitions.
