Police exploring the vanishing of bequest specialist Suzy Lamplugh are looking through land in Worcestershire in the wake of accepting “new data”.

The assortment of Ms Lamplugh, who vanished from London in 1986, has never been found and her executioner never charged.

Metropolitan Police officials are presently looking through zones of land in Pershore.

Ms Lamplugh’s family has been told and police will stay at the scene until an “exhaustive pursuit” is finished.

The new data pursued attention about the pursuit a year ago of a property in Sutton Coldfield which once had a place with the mother of prime speculate John Cannan.

Cannan, 64, who is serving a lifelong incarceration for the kidnapping and murder of Bristol love bird Shirley Banks, was named as a suspect in Ms Lamplugh’s homicide in 2002.

Officials from West Mercia Police are supporting the most recent hunt, which the Metropolitan power said was not associated with the proprietor of the land.

There have been scans for Ms Lamplugh – who was authoritatively proclaimed dead in 1994 – in Worcestershire beforehand, when police uncovered a field close to the previous Norton Army Barracks in 2000, 2001 and 2010.

The 2010 site is close to the most recent zone of intrigue however that search was canceled after no proof associated with the case was found.
