Coco Gauff’s fantasy prologue to Wimbledon proceeded with a second-round triumph that misrepresented her years over Magdalena Rybarikova.

The 15-year-old American qualifier required only one hour nine minutes to beat her Slovakian rival 6-3 6-3 under Court One’s new rooftop.

Gauff, who beat five-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams on Monday, will play Slovenia’s Polona Hercog next.

“Despite everything i’m stunned I am even here,” Gauff revealed to BBC TV.

“I played well on weight focuses, she was serving astounding. I’ve not had the option to unwind, there is such a great amount of going on.

At such a young age, Gauff is just qualified to play 10 competitions at expert level between her fifteenth and sixteenth birthday events yet she seems, by all accounts, to be taking the fantastic event of Wimbledon in her walk.
