Six young people have gone on preliminary in Spain blamed for explicitly manhandling a young lady of 14, for a situation that has reignited a discussion over the meaning of assault.

They are accused of mishandling the young lady at a neglected plant in Manresa, a town in the north-eastern district of Catalonia, in October 2016.

Contingent upon the declaration heard in court, examiners may bring the graver charge of assault.

The six litigants, whose ages were not given, deny engaging in sexual relations with the young lady.

The case has turned out to be known as the “Manada de Manresa”, or Manresa wolf pack, due to likenesses with another 2016 posse assault on a young lady, which incited across the nation dissents and a progressing audit of Spain’s assault laws.

On Wednesday, a furious uncle of the young lady must be controlled by police when he thrusted towards the litigants, who are on temporary discharge during the preliminary, as they left the court.
