Indian and Pakistani authority level assignments will meet on Sunday at Wagah to move in the direction of speedily operationalising the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor.

“We are certain from our side….the works are going on going full speed ahead and the work has been intended to be finished by October 31 preceding the remembrance of 550th birth commemoration of Shri Guru Nanak Devji in November 2019,” an official source said here.

Kartarpur is situated in Pakistan’s Narowal area over the stream Ravi and is around four km from Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur locale.

In November a year ago, the two India and Pakistan consented to set up the outskirt intersection connecting Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, the last resting spot of Sikhism author Guru Nanak, to Dera Baba Nanak.
