The US Navy demolished an Iranian automaton on Thursday after it wouldn’t down, President Donald Trump says.
He said the USS Boxer brought down the automaton over the Strait of Hormuz – a key ocean section in the Gulf – after it went in close vicinity to 1,000 yards (914m) of the ship.
Iran said it had no data about losing an automaton. In June, Iran shot down a US military automaton in the region.
Prior, Tehran said it had seized an “outside tanker” and its 12 team on Sunday for carrying fuel in the Gulf.
