The seismic tremors, sizes 5.4 and 5.9, hit the territory of Batanes, an archipelago in the north of the nation at an early stage Saturday.

Civic chairman Raul de Sagon said around 60 individuals were harmed. Numerous individuals were in their homes when the seismic tremors struck.

Police sergeant Uzi Villa told AFP: “We saw houses shaking. A portion of the dividers of the houses fallen and fell on the people in question. A few people kicked the bucket since they were resting soundly since it was still early.”
