South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa has denounced a flood of plundering and brutality that has generally focused on remote nationals.
“There can be no support for any South African to assault individuals from different nations,” he said on Tuesday.
Many individuals were captured in Johannesburg on Monday. In any event five individuals have been executed in the agitation.
Other African governments have issued admonitions to their natives over the viciousness.
Assaults on organizations kept running by “remote nationals is something absolutely unsuitable, something that we can’t permit to occur in South Africa,” Mr Ramaphosa said in a video presented on Twitter.
“I need it to stop quickly,” he included.
