In any event 15 individuals have been murdered and two truly harmed in an assault on a mosque in northern Burkina Faso.

Shooters entered the Grand Mosque in the town of Salmossi on Friday evening as those inside were supplicating.

The assault provoked numerous local people to escape the town which is near the Malian outskirt.
