The suspect in the demise of British hiker Grace Millane went on a Tinder date while her body was in a bag in his room, a court heard.
The disclosure came as the principal proof was introduced in the preliminary of the 27-year-old suspect, who can’t be named for legitimate reasons.
Ms Millane, 22, who was from Wickford, Essex, was most recently seen in Auckland, New Zealand, on 1 December a year ago, before her body was discovered seven days after the fact.
The suspect denies murder.
The group of Miss Millane sat in the Auckland court, meters from the respondent.
Examiners assert the British lady was choked to death in the man’s loft after the two met on the dating application Tinder.
The safeguard guarantee the demise was a mishap during consensual sex, saying “acts intended to improve sexual delight turned out badly”.
