In involved Kashmir, the Srinagar-Jammu expressway, the main all-climate street interfacing Kashmir valley with the remainder of the world, stays shut since Thursday because of day off avalanches, activated by substantial downpour.

More than 2000 vehicles, including those conveying travelers, are stranded on the roadway, which was put through for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday to clear the vehicles, stranded on the two sides of Jawahar burrow, media reports said.
