The maker of the hit US TV sitcom Ugly Betty, Silvio Horta, has kicked the bucket matured 45, his agent has affirmed.
The show’s star America Ferrera said she was “paralyzed and shattered” after the TV author and official maker was discovered dead on Tuesday in Miami.
Appalling Betty ran for four seasons from 2006 to 2010 and was adjusted from the Colombian show Yo soy Betty, la fea.
Ferrera posted an image of both of them together on Instagram, depicting the news as “destroying”.
“His ability and imagination brought me thus numerous others such happiness and light,” composed Ferrera, who featured as Betty Suarez – an untrendy and innocent Mexican-American columnist who accepts a position at a top of the line New York design magazine.

The job won the 35-year-old a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award.
“I’m thinking about his family and friends and family who must be in so much agony at the present time – and of the entire Ugly Betty family who feel this misfortune so profoundly.”
Horta’s agent affirmed he had kicked the bucket yet wouldn’t remark on the idea of his demise.
