Madonna has said she is “profoundly heartbroken” for dropping the principal London show of her Madame X world visit.
The star had been because of start a run of 15 dates at the London Palladium from this Monday.
In an announcement, the artist said she had been “tormented” by wounds since the start of the visit and was advised by specialists to “rest for a couple of days”.
She included that discounts would be given to the individuals who had purchased tickets for Monday’s exhibition.
Madonna’s Wednesday show will at present happen as booked.
“I am profoundly grieved that I need to drop my show planned for Monday 27 January in London,” she said.
“Under specialists’ direction I have been advised to rest for a couple of days.
“As all of you realize I have wounds that have tormented me since the start of the visit however I should consistently tune in to my body and put my wellbeing first.
“The exact opposite thing I need to do is baffle my fans or bargain the respectability of my show. So I will prop up until I can’t.”
