ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News – tenth Apr, 2020 ) :Chairman Kashmir Institute of International Relations (KIIR) Altaf Hussain Wani has made an energetic intrigue to the UN Secretary General Antonio Gutters asking him to mount pressure on India to repudiate all enemy of Kashmir-laws including new residence law, which disregards the United Nations goals.
In a report routed to the UN secretary General, he communicated his grave worry over new arrangement of laws presented by the legislature of India for Jammu and Kashmir, said a public statement gave here on Friday.
Naming these enemy of Kashmir laws as an outrageous infringement of universal contracts Wani asked the UN Secretary General, High Commissioner for Human Rights Michele Bachelet, Human Rights Council President Elisabeth Tichy-Fisslberger, part states and common society to urge India to deny all laws which damage the United Nations goals of thirteenth August 1948 and fifth January 1949.
Alluding to universal agreements, which carefully confine and limit involving states from modifying segment character of involved zone, Wani stated, “The province of Jammu and Kashmir is a globally perceived question among India and Pakistan and falls under Geneva Convention and Hague Regulations of 1907, which preclude possessing states from adjusting the segment character of the involved zone”.
Being a signatory to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and social rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and United Nations goals on Kashmir India was legitimately and ethically bound to secure the privileges of Kashmiris characterized in these understandings, Wani said.
Featuring the hazardous plans of the Indian government Wani stated, “Indian want to change the demography of the state has been operational since the day when it persuasively involved the region of Jammu and Kashmir in 1947”.
The physical disposal of the Muslim populace in Jammu was officially begun in 1947 followed by Indian military invasion in Kashmir, he said including that slaughtering and focusing on Muslim youth and controlling of registration figures and other coercive measures were utilized as a compelling device to change the demography of the state.
