A British man who fell into a well on the Indonesian island of Bali has been safeguarded following six days.

Jacob Roberts, 29, broke his leg subsequent to falling into the 4m-profound well in Pecatu town while being pursued by a pooch, said AFP citing neighborhood specialists.

In an announcement on Instagram, Basarnas said that Mr Roberts was taken to the BIMC Nusa Dua medical clinic.

Pecatu town is close to the well known southern Bali visitor hotspot of Nusa Dua.
